Tarte Blissful Amazonian Clay Blush Review, Swatches, Photos

My weakness for coral blushes is well documented, and I couldn’t resist buying another one recently – Tarte Blissful Amazonian Clay blush, a lovely coral pink.

Tarte Blissful is my second Amazonian Clay blush, and I’m loving the formula (more on that in a minute) – but the packaging leaves a little bit to be desired. The compacts are cute, though not really my style – I prefer something sleek and black and silver – but what really bugs me is that the pans spin around in the compact, they are not anchored in place.  It doesn’t really affect the functioning of the blush, but it is quite annoying.

In terms of the quality of the product though, Tarte blushes have it all! They are soft, silky, and have a lovely level of pigmentation.  They are pigmented enough to be easy to use, but are not so pigmented that they are difficult to blend.  They last very well on my normal to dry skin.

The color of Blissful, a coral-pink, is absolutely perfect for my skintone.  It reminds me of my all-time favorite discontinued blush, Smashbox Smashing Publish – they’re almost exact dupes, which makes me very happy!

And, here I am wearing Blissful – you get a profile view this time for variety.
